HOW TO APPLY
Submit an application through the JINA website (archive.jinaweb.org). Applicants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration fee is required. Deadline for submission is March 26, 2007. Applicants from abroad are encouraged to apply as early as possible.

FOREIGN VISIT REQUEST FORM
Foreign nationals require permission from the U.S. Department of Energy for site access and admittance to the Argonne site is contingent upon approval. Please complete ALL of the questions in the Foreign Visit Request Section on the Application Form, as this information is required to submit a Foreign Visit Request.

SCHOOL LOCATIONS
The School will be held at Argonne National Laboratory, 9700 South Cass Avenue, Argonne, IL 60439. The School will officially open on Tuesday evening, May 8, 2007, with a buffet reception from 6:30-9:00 p.m. at the Argonne Guest House. Lectures and lab/computer exercise sessions will be conducted in the Physics Division Auditorium, Building 203, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9 and concluding at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15.

TRAVEL AND LODGING
Airfare and/or costs associated with travel by personal automobile will be the responsibility of the applicant. On Tuesday, May 8, shuttle service will be provided from O'Hare International Airport and/or Midway Airport to Argonne National Laboratory. Shuttle service will also be provided for your return to the airport on Wednesday, May 16.

The School will also provide (private bedroom) housing accommodations at the Argonne Guest House for the nights of Tuesday, May 8 through and including Tuesday, May 15, 2007. If you will be traveling from abroad, housing accommodations can be arranged for you to arrive on Monday, May 7. Please indicate this in the "Remarks" section on the Application Form.

A confirmation letter, regarding local travel and lodging arrangements, access to the Argonne site, etc., will be sent.

MEALS
School participants will be provided with a daily lunch ticket (during School sessions) to be used at the Argonne Cafeteria. All other meals will be at the expense of the participant. School participants will also receive a $200.00 stipend to help defray the cost of local expenses.
