Frontiers 2012 workshop, sponsored by the Joint
Institute for Nuclear Astrophysics (JINA), is the forth in a series
of JINA meetings to bring together all JINA participants, collaborators,
and other interested researchers to discuss recent and/or planned research
in nuclear astrophysics. The workshop will be held at the National
Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory, on the Campus of Michigan
State University, East Lansing, MI from Oct. 7th-8th,
2012.
The meeting will comprise of two days dedicated to
oral presentations and a poster session allowing ample time for discussions.
The meeting will end Monday Oct 8th at 5pm. Although a few invited overview
talks on topics of current interest will be presented, young researchers
are especially encouraged to present their research work. All the presentations
will be available at the JINA web site (http://archive.jinaweb.org)
after the meeting's conclusion.

Registration deadline is September 7th. There is a $50 registration
fee (to be paid upon arrival at NSCL) but JINA will provide meals and
accommodation for workshop participants.
The Frontiers 2012 meeting will be followed by The
Nuclear Astrophysics Town Meeting in Detroit (http://meetings.nscl.msu.edu/astrotown2012/index.php)
October 9th-10th. The meeting will start on Tuesday
early morning, so those who plan to participate are strongly encouraged
to book a room two nights at the Westin Hotel (using link provided on
the Town Meeting website). Please note that the Town Meeting registration
deadline is August 31st. For Frontiers participants that
plan to attend the Town Meeting transportation from the NSCL to Detroit
will be offered on Monday (Oct. 8th) evening.
