We would like to inform you that the 10th
International Symposium on Origin of Matter and Evolution of Galaxies
2010 (OMEG10) is scheduled to take place in Osaka, Japan on March
8-10, 2010.
The Symposium will be held at Icho-Kaikan in the
Suita campus of Osaka University, Ibaraki, Osaka, Japan.
The Scientific Program will cover the following topics:
1. Cosmology, Big-Bang Nucleosynthesis, Dark Matter & Dark Energy
2. Cosmic and Galactic Chemical Evolution and Structure Formation
3. Stellar and Meteoritic Abundances
4. Nucleosynthesis in Stars, Novae, and Supernovae
5. Nuclear Structure and Reactions for Astrophysics
6. Physics of Supernovae and Spin-Isospin responses in Nuclei
7. Neutron Star and High Density Matter
8. X-Ray, Gamma Ray, and Cosmic Ray
9. Nuclear Data for Astrophysics

Key Dates:
Dec. 18, 2009 : Second circular including the main program.
Jan. 12, 2010 : Deadline for submission of abstract papers.
Jan. 31, 2010 : Information to the selected oral speakers.
Feb. 8, 2010 : Deadline for registration and accommodation.
Feb. 8, 2010 : Final circular.
Mar. 8-10, 2010 : OMEG10 symposium.
Contributed Papers:
We call for scientific contributions which will be selected for oral
presentations. The manuscript should be within one page for each title.
Please send the pdf/ps file of your abstract by E-mail (omeg10@rcnp.osaka-u.ac.jp)
or send a hard copy to the OMEG10 Secretariat by postal mail. Besides
the selected oral presentations, a poster session is also planned
during this symposium.
Registration, accommodation and travel:
The symposium registration fee is 15,000 Japanese Yen (JPY) (8,000
JPY for students and post-docs). The registration fee will cover reception,
coffee break, banquet and proceedings. Detailed information for accommodation
and travel to the symposium site will be provided in the second circular.
