The Joint Institute for Nuclear Astrophysics (JINA) wants to work with your after-school program. We would like to introduce children to the wonders of the physical universe through creating art and other hands-on activities!
JINA will provide art/craft supplies, books, and knowledgeable instructors. In turn, the children create art based on the theme "Made of Star Stuff".
Special needs programs and after-school programs for at-risk children (within driving distance of the University of Chicago, Michigan State University, and the University of Notre Dame) are invited to apply.
